The Woman of my Dreams

Kaaren was a voracious reader.
His interests were wide ranging and quirky.
He loved history, particularly early American history, the colonial era.
He loved to read about science and to try to understand concepts that he found difficult.
He loved science fiction too, that was his favorite I think.
A bookstore owner he’d met when he was young had recommended books to him and had been a huge influence on a lonely boy looking for escape.
He told me that it broke his heart when the store closed down.
We both enjoyed books and when his face wasn’t buried between my legs he would be nose deep in a good book.
It amazes me that he found the time for everything but somehow he did.

Yes I know I've written lots of things about my wife....
She loves having me as her sissy husband...
She loves dominating me....she didn't at first but she kind of grew into the role....
She loves that she can cuckold me to satisfy her needs for physical pleasure that I'm unable to provide for her....
I love all that but there's something else...
It might have been a deal breaker....
I don't think I could love anyone who didn't love books!!!!
Thank god she reads as much or more than I do.....our house is full of books....

  1. Well, other than the fact we had blogs in the realm of TG type topics, Kaaren and I definitely had the loves of our lives as book lovers in common too. Sometimes, we would go out and find used book stores and just free range browse across the expanse of shelves. I was into non-fiction, and while she held a degree in medieval history, she loved science fiction and a different sort of romance bodice ripper fiction. She always had at least 2 books in her purse as well as a Kindle.

It pained her when the anti-TG stuff about J.K. Rowling came out .. she passed on before the depth of it came out .. I haven't migrated her personal copies yet.

I am not a scifi guy, but love historical books, and colonial history through 1820's was something I read a lot about. It's another wonderful connection with Kaaren I wish I knew about before his passing. I am so glad you are continuing to post from his voluminous back log of posts!

    1. I used to tease him about how he might have been the camp whore keeping the troops entertained during the long winter at Valley Forge in a past life.
It’s interesting how many ways that you and my Kaaren were alike.
Kaaren didn’t do well in school although he was probably one of the smartest people I ever met. He just couldn’t buckle down and study anything that he wasn’t interested in.
But he dove in to any kind of knowledge that caught his attention.
You know, I still have bookshelves full of his books. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them. They were as much a part of him as his pretty dresses and I can’t let either of them go.
Voluminous backlog is right. I’ve only scratched the surface.
      Nice to hear from you,

  2. interesting Dee, as there's a medievalist in our house as well, and the place is full of books.

my interest tend towards military history, including the revolution. Rick Atkinson, who has written a wonderful trilogy on the US Army in WW2 in Europe, has started a new series on the revolution. the first book is called The British are Coming, which takes us up to the Battle of Trenton and Valley Forge. The next on comes out in the spring.

I don't live too far from Valley Forge, but have never toured the battle field. I should probably be spanked for that omission.

    Cheers/Luke

    1. Valley Forge is lovely and Kaaren and I stopped there more than once as we traveled through Pennsylvania to visit my family.
Hard to picture the death and despair of the Continental Army during that long cold winter.
      You should definitely go.

  3. It's always lovely to read of interests that Kaaren and you have and had outside of the world of submission and cuckoldry. We are all people of multiple interests and facets and its lovely to get a more rounded impression of someone your care or cared about but only ever knew through their writings.

    1. Like everyone else we are multifaceted people.
I recall Kaaren responding to someone who thought that he was a one dimensional sex blogger.
The truth is always more complicated than that.
I know Kaaren had sex on his mind quite often but it wasn’t all there was.
For instance I know that Kaaren envied your travels and he had plans for after my retirement for all the things and places he wanted to see.
      Unfortunately it wasn’t to be.
Thank you for your kind words.
And I quite enjoy your blog as well.
